Welcome back! Last time, we saw someone die, some inappropriate wishing, Knack missing school AGAIN, and the cat did some things I think.
Moving on!
Mat is finally level 5! And it turns out he needs Alchemy. How was I to know?!
Remember Affinity? I sure didn't. Now she's having a birthday on the floor.

MEANWHILE, Knack went to Prom! He didn't have a date, because he has met zero kids his age. It was largely uneventful, except at the end, when I got this:
Knack is gay.
It never even OCCURRED to me that Knack might be gay. I didn't know Sims 3 Sims had autonomous gender preferences!
This changes things. Knack was set to be heir, but I don't have mods, and I'm not a cheating person. And I won't make him be with a girl if he doesn't want to be.
So, for the sake of Knack's happiness, he is now a spare.
.......also, what a sad way to find that out D= Meanie turned him down.
Lucky for him, another boy was there to pick him up after his fall. More on that later~

Yeah, okay, I let them try, but I didn't hear a lullaby. I turned off the music, which I guess it's part of.
My rule is this - if they roll the wish (especially if both of them do), I'll let them try. ONCE. If it doesn't work, no go. I don't really know what the fertility odds are in this game, though, so maybe I'm dooming myself.
You know, I like the discounts, but I could do without the paparazzi. This is just creepy.
What? Just a teenager in his underwear holding his cat. What's newsworthy about that?
Yes, Knack is in love. Although the "Most Popular" guy turned him down, another guy was there for him. We quickly set about courtship.
Knack: Did I ever learn how to write?
Just sprinkle some more glitter on there, it'll be fine.
Knack: No way, you've been going to school since WHAT age? By the time of Prom, I'd only gone twice! And I skipped the day of!
It's true. He misses school a lot.

Like every cat I've ever owned, Pounce pretty much never sleeps in her bed.
Elsewhere, it's Generic-Version-of-Valentines-Day, so the lonely members of the household head out, looking for love!

All in all, a good day for love.
I think Mat and Susannah have had enough love for one season, however, so I keep them away from each other. There's plenty to do.
Knack returns home after an awesome date, and begins planning out his dream home.

For some reason, I'd never tried it on Susannah. She seems pleased by his prediction of screaming children in her future.

They try to head to the hospital - but Knack is fishing, and we don't have the money for the babysitter after the remodel for the baby.
Mat: I guess we'll have a home birth...

Mat: Whelp, I'm off to work!
Yeah, it's about time I round out this chapter anyway.
